It has been announced that Lance Henriksen will be playing Obsidian in the second season of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
It has been announced that The CW Television Network will premiere in 2017 a new animated series on its sister streaming site, CW Seed, called Freedom Fighters: The Ray.
While no voice actors have been cast as of yet, it is confirmed that it will be executive produced by Greg Berlanti (Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow) and Marc Guggenheim (Arrow, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), while it will be produced Warner Bros’ Blue Ribbon Content, along with Berlanti Productions, who produce the series Vixen and CW’s live action DC adaptations.
There has been much debated over the recent reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise, although honestly while recent reboots have generally left me with a feeling of meh (and the habit of trailers spoiling things lately, also kinda ruins it, thanks for showing Chris Hemsworth’s Keven as possessed), I truly am looking forward to Melissa McCarthy’s, Kristen Wiig’s, Kate McKinnon’s and Leslie Jones’ performances. For no matter how the film may end up, I know that these comedians will be funny and entertaining.
However, one thing which I believe can be agreed upon is the simple fact that the new cover of Ray Parker, Jr.’s classic (if heavily nostalgia biased) Ghostbusters theme by Fall Out Boy and Missy Elliott is just really dull and bad. It is not entertaining and just feels lifeless.
Have a listen:

So the questions are how and why?
With the recent news of a Hellraiser reboot coming forth, under the wings of Gary Tunnicliffe, who is also writing the screenplay.
Sadly this reboot has nothing to do with series creator Clive Barker nor the original actor to portray the iconic Pinhead, Doug Bradley.
It has only recently been revealed that the new actor to wear the mantle of the head priest of the Cenobitical Order of the Gash’s Pinhead is to be:
The wonderful Carrie Fisher, who is best known for playing the role of Princess Leia Organa in the original Star Wars trilogy (1977-1983) and which she has reprised with the recent instalment in the franchise of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015, has recently offered her thespian talents to an advert and sketch by IBM for their IBM Watson Group and the Watson computer.
